Project Overview

Challenge
Curved LED installations require significantly tighter tolerances than flat displays. Proper cabinet alignment, curvature consistency, and seam management are critical to achieving a seamless finished appearance. The local installation team had limited experience with curved LED deployments, making installation methodology and alignment procedures particularly important. In addition, the cabinet platform presented a recurring challenge where internal ribbon cables could interfere with cabinet fitment and potentially affect pixel performance if not carefully managed during assembly. The client also requested an NPI-based control workflow that differed from the standard commissioning approach typically used on similar projects.
Execution
Working alongside the local crew, PETUKHOV provided installation guidance, alignment procedures, and best practices for curved display construction. Particular attention was given to cabinet positioning, seam consistency, and cable management throughout the build process. During commissioning, the control system was configured to support the client's preferred NPI workflow. Custom presets and operational profiles were created to simplify day-to-day use while supporting the client's presentation requirements. The local AVI-SPL team executed the installation with exceptional attention to detail, maintaining the precision required to achieve a clean curved surface without compromising schedule or workmanship.
Outcome
The display was successfully commissioned and delivered with a seamless curved appearance, consistent cabinet alignment, and a workflow tailored to the client's operational needs. The finished installation demonstrates the level of precision required for fine-pitch curved displays, where patience, attention to detail, and disciplined execution directly impact the final result.
