Project Overview
At Universal Studios in Orlando, FL, we supported an On Running athletic shoe commercial featuring professional tennis talent. Working with the New York production team and RFE, the project used a compact LED wall as part of the studio environment for the shoot.
System
The production used a small-format LED wall positioned directly on set. Rather than functioning purely as a video backdrop, the display became part of the lighting and visual design of the commercial.
Challenge
Using LED on camera requires more than simply displaying content. The wall needed to work with the production's camera and lighting environment while providing the creative team with the look they wanted on set.
Execution
The LED system was operated throughout the shoot, with content supporting different shots while the wall simultaneously contributed light and color to the scene. This allowed the production team to use the LED surface both as a creative background and as a practical light source.
Outcome
The compact setup proved how useful even a relatively small LED wall can be in a production environment. Instead of serving a single purpose, the display became an active part of both the set design and lighting workflow throughout the commercial shoot.
