Project Overview

Stanford University envisioned two LED displays—one outside and one inside its theatre box office—working together as one continuous canvas. The project brought that idea to life with Nanolumens displays integrated into the architecture.

System

The two displays formed a combined canvas 9,840 pixels wide, with NovaStar H2 processing. The signage player handled the content across that unusually wide layout, making it central to the finished experience.

Challenge

The displays needed to read as one visual composition across the box-office boundary. Making full use of the wide canvas required careful consideration of the signage player as well as the LED hardware.

Execution

The scope covered installation guidance and commissioning, working alongside Atlas from Atlanta on execution. The display system and content layout were brought together to carry a continuous visual across the interior and exterior screens.

Outcome

The completed installation turned two separate display locations into one architectural statement. The project demonstrates how much the signage player contributes to making a custom LED canvas work to its full potential.
